CellMat Laboratory has a wide expertise on the production, characterization, foaming mechanisms, properties, modeling, structure-property relationships and applications of cellular polymers and the ability of working on any of these fields.

The objectives of CellMat Laboratory are:

– To develop new knowledge on the production and structure-property relationships of cellular materials of interest for several markets sectors: Automotive, aeronautic, renewable energies, building and construction, packaging, biotechnology, etc.

– To carry out scientific and technical research of international excellence in the cellular materials field.

– Training of young scientist specialized in materials science and technology aiming them to be ready for both academia and industry.
