Belén Notario Collado, PhD student of CellMat Laboratory, wins the Student Scholarsip Award of the Foams 2014 Conference in Iselin, New Jersey, USA. CellMat Laboratory develops a new system for manufacturing plastic pipes. This new technique, which has been already patented, allows reducing the costs of both raw material and transport. Moreover, the technology has also a great industrial interest in fields like thermal and/or acoustic insultaion in buildings, packaging and lightening of parts and structures.
