(2019) Judith Martín de León: PhD thesis presented
Judith Martín de León, researcher at CellMat Laboratory, presented her PhD thesis entitled “Understanding the Production Process of Nanocellular Polymers Based on PMMA Driven by a Homogeneous Nucleation” on 4th October 2019. This thesis was supervised by Prof. Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Pérez and is part of the CellMat Laboratory research activities about nanocellular polymers.
The thesis received Excellent-Cum Laude calification.
(2019) CellMat wins the Best Paper Award, FOAMS 2019 Conference
A paper presented by a CellMat team was recognized with the Best Paper Award in the FOAMS 2019 Conference in Valladolid, Spain. The paper was presented in the conference by Victoria Bernardo García, with Judith Martín de León, Javier Pinto Sanz and Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Pérez as coauthors.

(2019) FOAMS 2019 Conference hold on October 2-3, 2019 in Valladolid (Spain)
The FOAMS® 2019 conference was held on October 2–3, 2019 at the Convent of Agustinos Filipinos in Valladolid, Spain. The conference was a succesful event organized by CellMat Laboratory with more than 80 people attending the conference, 28 technical talks given by proffesional speakers and 15 posters.
The FOAMS® 2019 tutorial was held on September 30-October 1, 2019 at the Parque Cientifico building of the Scientific Park of the University of Valladolid in Valladolid, Spain. This location is inside the campus of the University and allowed the assistants to visit CellMat Laboratory which is located in the same campus.

This thesis was supervised by Prof. Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Pérez and is part of the CellMat Laboratory research activities about nanocellular polymers.
The thesis received Excellent-Cum Laude calification.
